Every child deserves to begin the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn. The Mercer County Back-to-School Program helps local families by providing essential school supplies to students who need them most.
In 2025, the Mercer County Back-to-School Program helped more than 300 children start the school year with the supplies they needed to succeed. Thanks to the generosity of individuals, businesses, churches, civic organizations, and community partners, we are able to ease the financial burden on families while helping students walk into the classroom ready to learn.
We welcome donations of school supplies and financial contributions to help purchase items that are still needed. Whether you need assistance or would like to support a local child, thank you for being part of a community that invests in its students.
Registration:
Registration is open July 6th - July 30th, 2026. Eligible families may register online or by phone if internet access is unavailable.
Distribution:
The 2026 school supply distribution will take place on Thursday, August 13, 2026. Please note that the pick-up date and time are subject to change. Follow Our Home Family Resource Center on Facebook for the latest updates and announcements.
Donations:
Our Home Family Resource Center will accept donations July 6 – August 6, 2026.

Donations may be dropped off during regular office hours at Our Home Family Resource Center.
You can also shop our Amazon Wish List at ourhomefrc.com/btslist, and have your purchase shipped directly to Our Home. Financial donations are equally valuable and help us purchase supplies that are still needed.
