The tragedy that struck our community on Memorial Day brought out many folks who wanted to have a hand in the recovery. A number of those (individuals, organizations, and members of our local faith community) asked Our Home Family Resource Center to hold and distribute relief funding for local victims of the storm. As a result, Our Home’s Tornado Relief Fund was established => click here for application.
This fund has been designated for assistance with storm related expenses beyond those covered by insurance such as: insurance deductibles, losses not included in coverage, expenses that exceed insurance limits, and uninsured losses.
Assistance is not restricted by income; this fund will provide direct assistance to anyone in our community affected by the Memorial Day storm. Requests will be considered until the fund is exhausted or until it is deemed that all storm-related needs have been met.
Applications for Our Home’s Tornado Relief Fund are available at: Mercer County EMA Office, Immaculate Conception Church Office, and Our Home.
If you would like to make a financial donation to assist those affected by the Memorial Day tornadoes, you can either drop off or mail checks to Our Home Family Resource Center, 117 W Fayette St, Celina, OH 45822 or make an on-line at https://www.ourhomefrc.com/donate/.
