Please join us in welcoming Emilia Baker as Program Coordinator of Family and Children First Council at Our Home Family Resource Center.
This position represents an expansion of Baker’s role at Our Home, where she has served as a monitor of supervised visitations for the RAFT Visitation Center since June 2017. In that role, she has demonstrated organization and communication skills and maintained a professional attitude toward clients, coworkers, and confidentiality. Perhaps most importantly, her work also demonstrated true compassion for families dealing with challenges.
Baker is a graduate of Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a focus in Psychology of Adjustment, Positive Psychology, and Lifespan Development. She is also certified through National Council for Behavioral Mental Health and Mental Health First Aid USA, and she lives in Wapakoneta.
Baker steps into the role currently filled by Anne Ly, who tendered her resignation shortly after learning she was expecting a baby so that she could spend more time with the new addition to her family. Ly plans to work alongside Baker through March to ensure a smooth transition. Since the Family and Children First Coordinator is a part-time, contractual position Baker will be able to continue her work in RAFT Visitation Center.
Welcome aboard, Emilia!
