Bright & Cheerful Would Be An Apt Description of Our Home Family Resource Center Volunteers and Our Appreciation for Their Time!
#NationalVolunteerWeek is slated for observationApril 23rd-April 29th and we thought it important to let our volunteers know just how much they mean to us.
Volunteers serve Our Home in a number of capacities during the year: staffing special events (Coat Drive & Angel Tree), collecting donations (food, coats, back-to-school supplies), unloading food trucks, stocking shelves, manning the food pantry, and taking Crisis HelpLine calls. We would most assuredly be unable to serve all the critical needs of our community without their support…and we are extremely grateful for them all.
Our Home Family Resource Center is a non-profit organization that seeks to provide for, serve, and inspire change in individuals and families in all the communities in Mercer County.
Our Home’s work is carried out through a handful of distinct programs: Direct Services & Referral, Family Crisis Network, RAFT (supervised visitation/exchanges), and Family & Children First Council. Each program at Our Home fills a specific niche/need in our county, and all of Our Home’s programs are innately designed to assist residents during times of frustration, fear, separation, or insecurity.
Our Home is located at 117 West Fayette Street in Celina, OH. If you would like to learn more about Our Home’s Programs and/or if you are interested in supporting Our Home as an advocate, a volunteer, or a donor visit www.ourhomefrc.com or call 419-586-4663
